There's a new Dr. Watson working alongside Sherlock Holmes... And Dr. Jane Watson plans to do her late father and her godfather Sherlock proud.

In partnership with Sherlock Holmes, Jane Watson has to solve murders and mysteries involving a choice between love and money, a European crime boss who is a master of disguise, and a ghost haunting. Then Jane is called upon by King and Country to lend her skills to solve a crime for a foreign power.

It seems there's been a vampire murdered at Castle Dracula and King Vlad will accept no one less than the protege of Sherlock Holmes, the only man to have ever bested Dracula, to solve it.

Despite Sherlock Holmes's misgivings, Jane Watson sets out on a Transylvanian airship. Along the way, she encounters Martian technology, a werewolf seeking asylum in Transylvania, a transformed Moriarty, the creature known as Adam Frankenstein, a council of vampires, and King Dracula himself. But will Jane be able to solve a crime that may have been committed by those whose powers rewrite the definition of impossible? And if she can't, what will Dracula do?
