Dreams on Demand (??? ?? ???????) is a new collection by Sergei Gandlevsky, one of the foremost poets of contemporary Russian literature. It brings together 60 poems written over several decades and previously published in books and journals, selected by the author especially for this edition.

These poems showcase Gandlevsky's unmistakable voice: a fusion of autobiographical precision and cultural allusion, irony and confession, lyrical tenderness and uncompromising candor. The reader is taken through a wide panorama - from Moscow streets and suburban landscapes to memories of friends, lost youth, and the inexorable passage of time.

Sergei Gandlevsky (b. 1952) is the author of fifteen books of poetry and nine volumes of prose and essays. He has received numerous literary awards, including Russia's National "Poet" Prize (2010). His work has been translated into many languages, and he has appeared at international poetry festivals and lectured at leading U.S. universities, including Yale, Harvard, and Princeton. Since 2022, he has lived in Georgia.
