English description: Taking an approach that embraces the Canadian North in its broadest sense, the volume edited by Michal Obszynski and Malgorzata Sokolowicz shows how the imagined North and all that it implies is concretized in the geopolitical, cultural and aesthetic practices in contemporary Canada. While offering a historical perspective, it mainly examines the profound mutations taking place in the Canadian North today. Climate change, the redefinition of the administrative status of the area known as the Far North and the emergence of new voices - often from Indigenous or migrant communities - are constantly changing the cultural codes that have long shaped perceptions of the North. The North is evolving, its representation is being transformed, and this volume, which gathers contributions in English and French by scholars from Canada/Quebec and Poland, is an attempt to capture, describe and explain these changes. Tout en offrant une certaine perspective historique, il temoigne surtout des mutations profondes se produisant a l'heure actuelle dans le Nord canadien. Les changements climatiques, la redefinition du statut administratif de l'espace denomme Grand Nord ainsi que l'emergence de nouvelles voix, souvent issues des communautes autochtones du Nord ou des communautes migrantes, ne cessent de modifier les codes culturels qui ont longtemps faconne la perception du Nord.
