This book presents a design of a Voice Controlled Home Appliances System. This System has been developed by us to be a wireless speech-recognition system that operates different home appliances using voice commands from different rooms. Different techniques are present in speech recognition. IC HM2007 is used in order to achieve high accuracy. It is a speech-recognition chip which has an accuracy of up to 95%. The output received from this circuit was then provided to the microcontroller. We were successful in developing the programming code that provides suitable output for controlling the appliances for the voice command provided to the system and for triggering wireless communication through the transceivers, if appliances of a different room were to be controlled.
