V khode eksperimenta reshalis' sleduyushchie zadachi: opredelenie fizicheskikh svoystv goryuchikh slantsev (vlazhnosti, zol'nosti, deystvitel'noy i kazhushcheysya plotnosti, poristosti), optimal'nykh usloviy dlya briketiruemosti, teplotvornoy sposobnosti briketov. Provedeny issledovaniya po vliyaniyu usloviy nagreva na fiziko-khimicheskie prevrashcheniya v slantsakh. Ustanovleno, chto uvelichenie davleniya briketirovaniya (s 10 MPa do 15 MPa) i vlazhnosti (s 11,6% do 37%) uluchshaet prochnostnye kharakteristiki briketov, dobavka ugol'noy melochi (4% po masse) i umen'shenie vlazhnosti (do 23%) povyshaet teplotvornuyu sposobnost' briketov. Opredeleno, chto protsess polukoksovaniya nachinaetsya pri temperature 400 0S, pri dal'neyshem nagreve proiskhodit uvelichenie vykhoda gazov i umen'shaetsya vykhod polukoksa.
