Low birth weight is a multifactorial in etiology situation that allies to a wide range of environmental and maternal risk factors. This book is an effort to study the risk factors associated with infants who are born smaller than enviable birth weight. Majority of the predetermined factors are modifiable exposures that could possibly lead to a reduction of delivering LBW infants.
