Forests play critical roles in our life by providing both services and products(both timber and Non- timber forest products).However, Ethiopia does not have a data bank about carbon stock potential of the Forests in the country, despite of the Carbon project led by World vision which is in the opposite side of the study area. As a result, this work was conducted to provide basic information on the roles of Humbo forest in the mitigation activity of Climate Change, even though the non-woody parts of the forest were not included. This book can be used by every one with out any restriction, since it is about "FOREST," which is significant for life on the earth as it moderates climatic condition.
