This manuscript is a great contribution in screening of mango varieties / lines and in controlling different mango diseases with special reference to quick decline/sudden death of mango. It covers an extensive survey throughout the Punjab Province of Pakistan to explore quick decline disease prevalence, epidemiology and losses. Author used laboratory and field experiments and introduced a new and effective method to combat this disease. These methods and technology used has acknowledged at National level.
