1:4 U njemu bijase zivot, i zivot bijase svjetlo ljudima.

1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

1:5 I svjetlo sja u tami, i tama ga ne obuzme.

1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

1:6 Bio ?ovjek poslan od Boga, kojemu je bilo ime Ivan.

1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

1:7 On do?e za svjedo?anstvo, da svjedo?i o Svjetlu, da svi ljudi povjeruju kroz njega.

1:8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
