Uebrigens ist es noch lange nicht erwiesen, dass f r die Zeit des Alkman und Tyrtaeus im Lakonischen die K rze zu verwerfen sei, oh gleich der sp tere Lakonismus (wenigstens der der Inschriften) nur die Lange hat. Offenbar hat sich bei einem Theile der Don'er schon fr h die L nge festgesetzt (im Munde des gew. Volkes wird die K rze sich auch hier l nger erhalten haben), bei andern sp ter, wie bei den j ngern Delphiern im Gegensatz zu den altern.
