Guido Walz ist apl. Professor fA1/4r Mathematik an der UniversitAt Mannheim sowie selbststAndiger wissenschaftlicher Dozent und Publizist. Als Projektleiter und Chefredakteur realisierte er u.a die Neuauflage des Duden - Rechnen und Mathematik sowie das bei Spektrum Akademischer Verlag erschienene Lexikon der Mathematik in sechs BAnden. Frank Zeilfelder studierte Mathematik und Informatik an der UniversitAt Mannheim, an der er 1996 promovierte und 2002 habilitierte. Neben verschiedenen Forschungsaufenthalten im Ausland war er am MPI fA1/4r Informatik in SaarbrA1/4cken, an den UniversitAten Mannheim, Duisburg-Essen und der Technischen UniversitAt Darmstadt als Dozent in Mathematik und Informatik tAtig. Thomas RieAinger studierte Mathematik an der UniversitAt Mannheim und promovierte dort 1987. Nach TAtigkeiten als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und Systemanalytiker wurde er 1992 Professor fA1/4r Mathematik und Informatik an der Fachhochschule Frankfurt am Main. Er ist Autor mehrerer LehrbA1/4cher und hat bei Spektrum Akademischer Verlag das Werk Keine Angst vor Algebra verAffentlicht.
