Slawomira Kolsut examines the social approach to foreign language learning and teaching as a continuation of the concepts of the action-oriented approach and the task-based approach. It is not only a constructivist method of language teaching, but also a social concept referring to reflection on learning, teaching, communication and interacting with peers, as well as the development of attitudes and values. One important element of these considerations is the emphasis on the social and emotional aspects, including emotions in the learning process, engagement, and building and maintaining relationships in the school setting. At the heart of this approach is the concept of social learning, which is both a support for human development in a community and a modern method of language learning.
