Japanese-Language Proficiency Test Workbook N2 Listening Comprehension Speed Master

This is a workbook for the Listening Comprehension section of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test's N2 level.

In Part 1, you will do a large amount of test practice according to question formats. To put the finishing touches on your studies, take on two practice exams. In the Warming Up section before beginning Part 1, you will review words that are likely to appear on listening comprehension test scripts based on theme.

1: This book's largest feature is the large number of questions it contains. Part 1 alone includes 20 (5) Subject Understanding questions, 18 (6) Point Understanding questions, 20 (5) Summary Understanding questions, 26 (12) Immediate Response questions, and 10 (4) Comprehensive Understanding questions (Numbers inside parentheses are the number of questions on the test). In addition to these, two practice exams are included!

2: Though the texts themselves tend not to be too difficult during listening comprehension questions (compared to grammar, reading comprehension, and other questions), they still contain many words you will be learning for the first time during the N2 level. A separate booklet provides translations for such words and explains difficult expressions in order to support your learning endeavors.

Give your practical skills a solid boost with a variety of practice questions that follow the format of the actual exam. The preface highlights words and phrases to look out for during the listening component. Includes two mock exams.
