Description
The book's main thrust was to contribute to theory building in the Theory of Constraints (TOC) in logistics management and its applicability in Oman Higher Education Institutions (referred to as HEI right through), with focus on colleges and universities. The research explores gaps in knowledge regarding this theory as a contribution to knowledge, and in this instance the College of Applied Sciences Nizwa (CAS Nizwa) in Oman was the sample and epicentre of field research and was expected to meet foremost the needs of industry and government as employers of graduated students, then the needs of students and society. This research is an intensive in-depth single case study, with College of Applied Sciences (hereby referred to as CAS Nizwa right through) being the case. The Colleges of Applied Sciences (CAS) are run by the Government of Oman through the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and started in 2005 and there were six of these huge colleges throughout every region in Oman.
