Description
Within the contemporary socio-political context, characterised by growing technological expansion, educational institutions are faced with the complex and challenging need to rethink the training of education professionals, children and young people, incorporating new digital languages into their curricula and pedagogical know-how. With this in mind, this book presents the results of a study carried out with university lecturers and students linked to the Pedagogy course at the State University of Bahia - DCHT XVII, located in Bom Jesus da Lapa, Bahia, Brazil. The research set out to: understand the meanings and significance that teachers and students on the Pedagogy course attribute to the new digital languages in teacher training; and characterise the educational practices developed by teachers in teaching, research and extension, under the mediation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Based on the voices of Pedagogy, this article presents plural dialogues on the new educational technologies integrated into teacher training and teaching work, within the scope of Higher Education and Basic Education.
