Description
This study focuses on the evaluation of heavy metal pollution, in particular the analysis of copper ions Cu2+ and zinc ions Zn2+ fixed in the cress beds of Andravoahangy. Cu2+ and Zn2+ ions are Trace Metal Elements that can be found in the soil in various forms (cationic, complexed...). They can be distributed between 2 compartments: the solid phase and the liquid phase. The distribution of these two metals allows to measure their enrichment levels and to determine if the soil has an adequate control on their mobilities. The experiments are conducted in the environmental chemistry laboratory. We used BATCH experiments. The study of the mobility of Cu2+ and Zn2+ ions is done on soil samples of the same quantity; copper sulfate and zinc acetate solutions of different concentrations are added to each. The analysis of the parameters associated with the pedological study of the soil allows the interpretation of the mode of adsorption of Cu2+ + Zn Cu + Zn2+ ions.
