Reflecting on the use of ICT in initial training of chemistry teachers

The technologies are increasingly present in the classroom, either by the use of smartphones, notebooks and/or social networks, people are always connected. The ICTs are essential in the teaching-learning process in the classroom, because they generate infinite possibilities of exploration in the pedagogical practices. However, it is verified a certain resistance of the teachers in inserting them in their classes. The present study presents a research carried out with students and teachers of the Chemistry-Licenciatura Course of the agreste of Pernambuco. The objective was to identify how the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have been addressed (or explored) in the course and what are the conceptions of teachers and students about the resources arising from the technologies.
