This research is a feasible study consisting of the application of a model for the evaluation of pedestrian traffic behavior with the purpose of identifying road risk factors around the School of Engineering that threaten the road safety of students, staff and visitors to the institution. To this end, the area under study was characterized, including the determination of the conflict indicator (PV2) presented by both pedestrian and vehicular flows, this factor justifies a possible provision of a pedestrian facility and pedestrian movement patterns were identified. Also, taking as a reference the pedestrian behavior studies carried out internationally (Ecuador, Colombia and Chile), the activities and instruments to be carried out in the process were defined.
