Surprisingly, despite the interventionist increase in untimely recourse to external manoeuvres to direct a delivery, in this study we noted that the scientific indication (mechanical hypokinesis) was the most frequent with 42.64%, followed by EIM with 29.29% and RPM with 12.10;- The average age of pregnant women who benefited from oxytocin infusion was 27.5 years, with extremes ranging from 14 to 41 years, and parturients aged 20-24 years outnumbered others with a frequency of 28.66%.- Further details on infusion delivery can be found in the book.
