The study Education Reform in Europe sees itself as a contribution to the discussion for teachers, parents, learners, students and all those interested in education to highlight aspects of a necessary education reform at the beginning of the 21st century. It is a matter of course that the education system in Austria is also included in such considerations. Austria's membership of the European Union (EU) provides a context for European education systems.All areas of educational institutions are addressed - from elementary, primary and secondary education to tertiary and quaternary education. Aspects of digitalization and educational sociology complete the considerations.
