A pesar del riesgo que supone, Laia est decidida a liberar a su hermano y Elias resuelto a seguir a su lado, aunque ello suponga renunciar a su propia libertad. Juntos tendrn que luchar a cada paso para llegar a su destino y burlar a todos sus enemigos: el cruel Comandante, los soldados del Imperio, el sdico guardin de Kauf, y sobre todo, a Helene Aquilla, sometida a la voluntad de Marcus, el retorcido nuevo lder del Imperio.
