English summary: Up until today, the Asklepieion of Kos had not been the subject of a wide-ranging publication that took into consideration all its rich epigraphic and literary documentation. This is all the more surprising given that in recent years, research on the cult of the god and his holy places has been highly successful, as evidenced by, among other works, two excellent monographs of J. Riethmuller and M. Melfi.
