This work deals with the politics of murder of Mahatam Gandhi. The assassination of Gandhi was one of the cruelest acts in the history of mankind. Today the assassination is being discussed by various forums at different levels. Sardar Patel, the first Home minster of India, held that it is due to the hatred spread by RSS that we lost our father of the nation. The book shows the ideological and organizational connection of Godse, also the ideological bonding of Hindu Mahasabha and RSS. Today RSS is not only trying to distance itself from this cruel act but also shrewdly trying to propagate that RSS is the true inheritor of Gandhi. While doing this they are trying to suppress his principles of non violence, Hindu Muslim unity and are trying to make a dwarf of him by making him the symbol just of cleanliness, by putting the broom in his hands. At the same time they are systematically trying to glorify his assassin Nathuram Godse. In this context it becomes very crucial to bring forth the politics behind this murder and to underline the truth by putting forward the truth and the politics behind this murder. The lies and half truths are aplenty, the book tries to bring forth the ideological and political reasons behind the same.
