Novelette refers to a brief book or novella. A novel written on a small canvas is known as a "Novelette" and has a distinct place in terms of brevity when compared to the novel. As though the novelette is merely a type of short novel, which emerged in the form of the novelette prior to the Renaissance, following a certain trend and gradient.
