Science-Fiction stories comprise tales which contemporary science would deem beyond possibility. The stories speculate "what if".... What if a fleet of spaceships looking for a new world break loose of its home galaxy and attain unheard of speeds beyond the cosmic limits? What happens to a man's mind when a lone astronaut finds himself stranded on a farthest imaginable alien planet? What adventure awaits a young boy who can access a train which travels to stellar constellations? But science-fiction travels beyond space. It can present a situation in which a grown man returns to his childhood home, long gone, and visits himself- as a child. It can look in on time travelers who miscalculate their journeys and find themselves on different and irreconcilable time coordinates...presenting themselves with insurmountable options.
