The volume titled ARS THEATRALIS. Manos Perrakis published by MELISSA Publishing House is dedicated to the valuable contribution of the architect Manos Perrakis. The bilingual (Greek and English in translation by Michael Eleftheriou) was edited by Dimitris Philippides on the occasion of an individual retrospective presentation of Perrakis' work at the Byzantine and Christian Museum (BCM, Athens, Greece). The book focuses on the architect's life and work, especially his projects about theatres and theatrical places. In this edition, Manos Perrakis, gold award-winning architect of the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, is introduced to the public through his work over 60 years, 26 theatres and many more projects.
