As a pre-teen he was featured by "Zillions" (Consumer Reports' magazine for kids) for his prowess in buying old books and video games at yard sales and selling them on eBay. His first book, "Debt-Free U: How I Paid For an Outstanding College Education Without Loans, Scholarships, or Mooching Off My Parents", was enthusiastically reviewed by "The New York Times" and "Washington Post". In addition to his work in the antiques field, he has served as a financial journalist for "GLAMOUR", "The Daily Beast", "The New York Times", "The Huffington Post", and AOL Money & Finance. He has a degree in art history from the University of Massachusetts.
