Well-known and respected throughout the small town of Walnut Ridge, he knows practically everyone, and they know him. A retired accountant, Tip has owned Walnut Ridge's only accounting firm for over forty years and prepared the taxes for nearly every business and person in town. He knows more about most of his fellow townsfolks' finances than even they do. Wanting to stay busy, he now works at pursuing his life-long dream of being a private detective. He enjoys unraveling puzzles, even if they appear to be of little consequence.
