PRODUCT TYPE Paperback (Paperback)

Description

Watermarking is a very essential solution for copyright protection of different multimedia contents. This method wisely hides some useful information in the efficient part of the original content. The secretly embedded data is called as the watermark. The watermark data may consists of information about owners' identification, owners' message, access rules of the document, logos, images, and audio. Figure 1.1 shows broadly the concept of a general digital watermarking process. In this process, the digital watermark [1] such as copyright or ownership data is secretly embedded into the original data. The watermarked data is then distributed to various users instead of the original data. If the copyright of the distributed data requires to be proved, watermark can be extracted from the watermarked model by using the appropriate extraction algorithm.
