We are also the former leadership of The Dakotah Nation as the direct lineal descendants of Mamaang?zide, Big Foot and his half brother Wá?peSá Ka?gida? Mdoke?i?ha?, Little Raven I. Our band is a principle leadership band of The Pembina Chippewa Nation, protected in acknowledgement by the 1863 Old Crossing Treaty. We are committed to preserving and sharing our rich cultural heritage with the world.
