Description

Vol. 5 of the series Part 1: The Door of Truth

At the start of the 19th century, the young boy Matiew meets and becomes the apprentice to Napoleon on the island of St. Helena. With Napoleon's guidance he sets out from the island on a journey to find the family he was separated from long ago. After a heroic journey across the vast ocean by ship, he arrives in London and ends up meeting the mysterious French aristocrat who is known as the Lady in Black. Matiew is hired as a live-in garden at her residence and tasked with planning out the creation of her garden. People across London consider his endeavor to be a foolhardy one and laugh at him. Even all on his own, Matiew is not discouraged and continues to work hard towards his goal. Finally, he comes head-to-head with the young man who is a leader of the town's children, Ernest, and Matiew is able to make an ally out of him. Matiew's plan for his garden finally begins to take shape.
