Twelve-year-old Jasper Slater's life has been turned upside down. It all started with his father's plane crash.

Those two words changed everything. Now, he and his family are being forced to move to the middle of nowhere to live with his crazy aunt.

When they finally arrive at their new home, a haunted-looking mansion on a desolate mountaintop, Aunt Delilah is nowhere to be seen. There are plenty of cobwebs and shifty shadows to keep them company though.

When Jasper and his little brother, Milo, wake the next morning to find their socks and undies hanging from the ceiling and a smorgasbord of their things scattered down the hall, their suspicions are confirmed; they are not alone. Is someone playing tricks? Who could it be, and where is their aunt?

The Fuzzwiggs have come to Earth to uphold their duty as Singers of the Seals. But some of them have shirked their responsibilities. After all, how can they be expected to work when their toots have suddenly acquired mysterious powers? Naturally, they use them to prank each other and, of course, take it too far. Some of them need to be taught a lesson, but that lesson turns out to have some very serious consequences.
