To cheer her up, Lucky, the boy next door, with his dog Frank at his side, decides she needs an adventure. In fact, they all do. A lost parrot named Bongo leads them out of the woods to exactly the right spot for the most astonishing adventure they've ever had. In the second tale, THE DOOR OF SECRETS, Lucy is driven wild because her big sister Charlotte has taken to rushing mysteriously into her bedroom and locking the door behind her. What could she be up to? Lucy knows only that Charlotte is hiding something wonderful! Lucy finds out Charlotte's secret and is overjoyed at the outcome.
