Get Her Back On Her Feet: (Am I My Brother's Keeper?)

AUTHOR Jackson, Cecilia
PUBLISHER Independently Published (04/22/2020)
PRODUCT TYPE Paperback (Paperback)

Description
We are a part of the family of God, and we are well taken care of by our father. In scripture, we are often likened to SHEEP who are cared for by the Good Shepherd (pastors) or the Great Shepherd (The Lord). We are well acquainted with Psalms 23, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." So, we understand that The Lord cares for us and loves us so much that we boast in the bene ts of belonging to Him and being surrounded by His care. It is also true, on the other hand, that we are our brother's keeper, our sister's keeper. We too as believers have a responsibility to show demonstrative love to one another. Shaw-mar, (Hebrew/Greek) means to be attentive to one another, to observe, preserve, regard, save, wait as a watchman, and place a hedge of thorns about that fellow beloved sister or brother. I Samuel says David rose up early in the morning and left the sheep (Tseh-one-- Hebrew / Greek -- a flock of sheep or goats also figuratively a group of men both small cattle and lamb - old and young) with a keeper, a shaw-mar, a watchman, an attentive person to guard and save. You and I are those keepers.
