Description
The Emperor had been crowned and the Empire was once again whole. Once the celebration was over, Raven, Talia, Tesha and several friends had taken a needed break. They had gone to Sanctuary, Raven's home in the Mountain of Mist. Knowing that they were safe from all harm, they had been able to truly relax. It was very stress reducing for all of them. After ten days of relaxing, Raven, Talia, Tesha, Jasmine and all those with them were ready to return to the Palace. Raven had lost a friend and protector during the Dwarven war. The good news was that the Dwarven nation was now one, but now they had the task of taking Bari to the great Dwarven city of Thurn'Kaldar where he would be honored for his sacrifice. They all wanted to accompany him to see how the Dwarves would honor him. He had died protecting the Dwarven King and King Hammerhand had wanted to do something special for Bari.

What Raven didn't know was that the secrets hidden in Thurn'Kaldar would provide benefits that no one had suspected. Could these secrets open up possibilities to help deal with the great war like nothing else ever had up to that point in time? It was certainly possible. Raven also was ready to face Kor'Koran. It was time to end the evil demonic creature's life who had killed his father and caused so much damage to those who believed in the Light. When he finally faces Kor'Koran something unexpected happens that causes Raven to experience anger, frustration and possibly a great loss. While in the middle of dealing with what had happened with Kor'Koran, he was also tasked with finding ore from the skies that would be used to create a holy and magical sword. No matter how much he accomplished there was always more that had to be done.

There were two things he wasn't prepared for. Talia, the love of his life, was going to go for additional training, and they would be separated for months again. Worst of all, he wasn't anywhere close to being prepared for what was in store for him. He was going to have to face his evil counterpart. If Pernious' prophecy was correct, it was going to be a very painful experience. Raven would be forced to face his ultimate enemy. She would cause him to experience pain worse than anything he had ever felt before. Can his friends find him before the pain he experiences is too much for his body to handle?

Even if he lives, how might it change him forever?
