Hello everyone, my name is Holden Swanson and I am the author of "Hold'n it Down". Originally from San Antonio, Texas, I now call Fort Lauderdale, Florida home. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I struggled with addiction and noticed a lack of representation for queer individuals in sobriety literature. Despite searching for self-help books, I was unable to find one that truly resonated with my unique journey. So, after achieving sobriety, I made the bold decision to share my own story through a memoir, in hopes of helping others facing similar struggles. "Hold'n it Down" is the first installment of my memoir series, delving into the chaotic world of addiction and my journey towards recovery and self-discovery.
