PUBLISHER Independently Published (02/18/2024)
PRODUCT TYPE Paperback (Paperback)

Description
?lexander Siemashko is a surgeon, oncologist, Ph.D, who voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in February 2022 to defend Ukraine from the invading Russia.
His book "Anarcho-syndicalism as a Concept for Modern Medical Business. And My Life" is the culmination and presentation more than 20 years of personal experience in creating and managing numerous private medical centers. The text was created between the summer of 2023 and the winter of 2024 and carries the emotional imprint of individual events.
The material is presented in the melodious Ukrainian language.
The author analyzes the ideas and manifestations of anarcho-syndicalism that are reflected in the realities of modern times, in his life and in the principles of creating private medical enterprises. The author explores the roots of anarcho-syndicalism, the reasons for its revival in the era of globalization and the IT revolution, and poses questions:
  • How did "archaism" find the impulse for its ideas after a century and a half, and what transformations has it undergone?
  • What do modern forms of social life and production relations that profess these ideas look like?
  • What could be the advantages and dangers when a person consciously or subconsciously follows the principles of anarcho-syndicalism in his life and professional activity?
The author asserts that the modern "fathers" of anarcho-syndicalism can be called three key concepts - "Human-centricity," "IT Technology Tools," and "New Management Style." The ideas presented in the book address the creation, survival, and development of a small medical enterprise in a competitive capitalist environment.
The author investigates the manifestations of anarcho-syndicalism ideas in medical practice of past times and the options for applying these principles in his own medical centers.
The work thoroughly examines the technical means and management techniques that the author considers key for a private medical center that professes the principles of anarcho-syndicalism, which allow creating a competitive medical business.
Purely technical text is intermittently interrupted by personal memories and literary attempts.
By the time the work on the text is completed, the author "continues to work" on the eastern front of Ukraine.

Great thanks to all volunteers and kind people around the world who have not left Ukraine and its Defense Forces alone in the deadly fight against the enemy!
