Mr. Rowl is witty suspenseful and fully enjoyable. A wonderful romance novel that never lets the reader down. Raoul de Sablieres or as he becomes better known "Mr. Rowl" is a French soldier who is captured by the English during the Napoleonic war. During his internment Raule falls desperately in love with an English woman. He escapes and rather than return directly to France he chooses to risk everything for love.
