Author Sujata Gokhale (B. Pharm.) has been teaching the Japanese language for the past 25 years. During this time, she has had the opportunity to visit Japan multiple times. After completing her B.A. and M.A. in Japanese, she developed a deeper understanding of Japanese culture. Her personal experiences during her visits to Japan have been expressed through words in this book. While in Japan, she also had the chance to briefly introduce Indian culture to the Japanese.

This book is being published to mark the silver jubilee of her institute, Aditi Academy of Japanese Language.
