Two black and white kittens want to serve and protect the Kingdom of Cats. But, both of them have embarrassing secrets and feel that they alone have problems they are unable to control. When they meet each other, they discover that they are not alone and find a friend who truly understands and accepts them. Although their maladies are discovered and threaten their position in the army, they remain faithful in their service. When they courageously join in an unexpected attack on the kingdom, the kittens and their superiors are surprised to find their problems can be used for a good cause.

P. Clauss, poet and novelist, was inspired to write this tale in honor of two black and white cats in her family (who actually have the same problems as the characters!). She has written other children's stories that are available in -Just Kid's Stories/Or Are They? A Collection-. She has also written Sci-Fi/Fantasy novels and a series of Christian devotional booklets. She lives with her husband and children along with their cats (a black, a silver-grey, a calico, a dark tortoiseshell, and a black and white) in the Dallas, Texas area.
