Author: Rodkin, Henry H.
Henry H. Rodkin is a latecomer to academia, spending the first 30-plus years of his career in business, half of which was in international business. He was President of International Trade Operations for a Fortune 300 conglomerate, Vice President, Marketing- International for a major automotive parts manufacturer, and learned his business skills initially in brand management at Procter & Gamble as well as at the Chicago Tribune. Victim of a hostile business takeover followed by the dissolution of the firm, for which he worked as an executive, Rodkin began to focus on higher education. In the past eight years as full-time faculty at DePaul, he has received two Distinguished Teaching Awards, has been selected twice for inclusion in Who s Who Among America s Teachers, and was recently selected by students for honorary membership in Golden Key Honor Society as well as Beta Gamma Sigma. His MBA is from The University of Chicago, his BS from Northwestern University s Medill School of Journalism. Rodkin also speaks Spanish and German and has conduced business in nearly 60 countries worldwide.
