Quarello, Maurizio
Maurizio Quarello was born in Turin in 1974. He studied graphic design, architecture and illustration, experimenting in the world of publicity and naturalistic painting. He has been illustrating for children's books since 2004. His books have one numerous prizes, both in Italy and abroad. He lives and teaches at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Macerata, Italy. In 2012 he received the Anderson Prize the world of childhood as Illustrator of the Year.
