This work, titled 'A Comprehensive History of Greater Noida and Dadri: Past, Struggle, and Present, ' is a humble attempt to present the glorious historical and cultural journey of such an important region of the National Capital Region, whose past has been extremely rich and inspiring. The purpose of this book is to connect the current generation with its roots and to bring to light those unknown and lesser-known facts, luminaries, and traditions which are an integral part of this region's proud history.

Our historical journey begins with the heritage of the Puranic age and Mahabharata-era contexts, depicts the strategic position and cultural continuity of this region amidst medieval political upheavals, and analyzes the influences of the Delhi Sultanate and the Mughal period. A special section of the book is dedicated to the First War of Independence of 1857, in which the unparalleled valor and sacrifice of local heroes like Dadri's brave son Rao Umrao Singh Bhati are vividly presented - this is that golden page of this region's history which always inspires us with national pride and a sense of duty.
