Hydrology comprises the entire area of physical behavior of water and its properties, the hydrological cycle occurs globally and circulates between the earth's surface and the atmosphere. This work has as main objective the study of the human impact on streams and creeks, and how much this action interferes in water drainage.The case study was performed in the Ribeiro do Rio das Pedras, a sub-basin of the Ribeiro das Anhumas, located in the region of Campinas, in the district of Baro Geraldo, the study was conducted so that we can observe in practice how the hydrology of a stream, showing that the actions of humans can bring damage to natural resources.It was used easily accessible materials to perform the measurements of the stream, essential for the development of the work, along with in-depth bibliographic research of the subject and field research, giving basis for this academic work.
