Damhouder [1507-1581] was an advisor to the Duke of Burgundy and a prolific author of legal and religious treatises.
This edition was published in conjunction with a posthumously compiled appendix, Sententiae Selectae Pertinentes ad Materiam Praxios Rerum Criminalium (1601), which is available as a Lawbook Exchange, Ltd. reprint.
