The book charts a journey on a long road to culminate at carbon neutrality. Achieving net zero emission over the next three decades or so is not a cake walk for India. There are many challenges on low carbon pathways. Such challenges need to be addressed through appropriate strategies, adequate resources and technologies. Decarbonising various sectors of industry and economy have been discussed at length. The book brings home the point that carbon neutrality is a very important landmark to move further on a plateau of sustained development. It also pulls down the myth of sustainable development, a technical jargon, which doesn't cut much ice in today's global context.
