Fear? Anxiety?

There are times when we're tempted to think fear and anxiety are things that only people today deal with. We might also be tempted to think only those who are distant from God struggle with them. Both of these ideas are totally false. Need proof? Look no further than the book of Psalms.

David, a man after God's own heart who lived thousands of years ago, wrote verse after verse expressing his fear, anxiety, and other strong emotions. However, he also poured out his heart in praise and thanksgiving. These are the Psalms--a place where Bible writers kept it real and a place where God reveals Himself and His heart to us. They may have been written long ago, but the Psalms are just as relevant today as we search for and know God.
