Author: Keller, Gottfried
Gottfried Keller was born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1819. His first poems were published in 1846 in Zurich, where he was appointed clerk to the canton in 1861. In addition to Green Henry, Keller wrote several volumes of short stories and poetry. He died in Zurich in 1890.
